Well, its 2011 and Kinect has finally landed. Kinect is pretty cool and works on ANY Xbox 360 Console. Unfortunately, it cannot work on Xbox. The Xbox is too old and no matter how many updates they make, it'll never be able to handle Kinect.
WHAT IS KINECT?
Kinect is a sensor that adds-on to the Xbox 360 Console. It watches you want uses your body movement to control the game. Unlike Wii and PlayStation Move, where it's controlled with a controller.
HOW DOES KINECT WORK?
Kinect uses the highest level of technology. "Magic disguised as Technology". It watches your whole body movement to control the game or console. That's why Kinect's slogan is: "You are the controller".
HOW DOES KINECT CONNECT WITH THE XBOX 360?
Kinect plugs into a USB port on the back of ANY Xbox 360 Console.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU PLUG IN KINECT?
You will have to update your Xbox 360 Console. This update is different than the one that just came out(the one that adds: Kinect Settings to your settings). It will update and then the Xbox 360 will guide you through out the rest. Then off you go! Your ready to Dance with Dance Central or have Adventures with Kinect Adventures or play Sports with Kinect Sports.
